This image of ANGELUS RAFAEL is at the summit of a niche fresco in the chapel:
The castles and lions at the base are the heraldic devices of Castile and Leon. The inscription above them reads ESTA CAPILLA ES DE SANT. MARTIN CONFESOR, "This is the chapel of St. Martin, Confessor." The words in the frame surrounding the castles and lions are O VOS OMNES QUI TRANSITIS PER VIAM ATENDITE ET. This is the beginning of Lamentations 1:12, "O all ye that pass by the way, attend, and see if there be any sorrow like to my sorrow: for he hath made a vintage of me, as the Lord spoke in the day of his fierce anger." The figures standing on the left are the prophet Jeremiah and St. Anne.
